Users can now access video clips of their favorite basketball players. After a game that is both scored and streamed, clips of made field goals (2pts and 3pts) will appear within the player’s profile under the Video Clips tab. These clips can then be viewed, downloaded, edited, shared, and deleted.
How Automatic Clipping Works
For basketball games that are both scored and streamed, clips will be generated from made 2 and 3-point field goals for each player. Coaches, family, and fans can view these clips after the game from the Video Clips tab on the player profile. The performance of the clips is reliant on a consistent stream and the scorekeeping data provided by the scorekeeper. Once a play is logged we generate a clip off of that data, so scoring in real time is essential to ensure accurate clip creation. When clips are viewed in the app, the scoreboard is shown for game context.
