GameChanger allows both iOS and Android users to track their teams' pitch type and pitch velocity. From the scorekeeping menu of a baseball or softball game, tap Settings, and toggle either the Pitch Type or Pitch Velocity setting on to start tracking that aspect of the game. You can watch a video tutorial or follow the instructions below.
Toggling those features on will cause some additional windows to appear after each pitch is thrown. You can see what that looks like in action here.
Every pitch speed entered through GameChanger will appear in the GameStream play-by-play, so fans can get live updates and coaches can review their pitcher's performance after the game.
And if you're streaming your games on video, the speed will appear on the scoreboard — just like the big leagues.
