Tired of tracking down coaches in your league to get their pitch counts after every game? GameChanger’s League Pitch Count Report replaces those phone calls, text messages, and paper forms, giving you the pitch count for every player in your league with just one click.
How to Set Up Pitch Count Report
You must be listed as a staff member on all teams that you want to be included in your Pitch Count Report. If a team has been added to the app and you are not currently a staff member, ask the coach to add you as staff. If any of your teams reach the four-person staff limit, please have the coach email us at help@gc.com and we'll help.
Note: If you are not staff on all teams in your league, the Organizations Beta might be a better fit for your group and will still allow you to export a pitch count report. Please check out our Creating and Using an Organization page to get set up.
Once you are a staff member of each of your teams, follow these steps to set up your report:
- Tap the “Account” icon in the bottom right corner of the app
- From there, tap on the Settings gear in the upper righthand corner
- Click “Baseball/Softball League Settings”
- Tap into “Teams in League” and select your teams
Once you’ve selected your teams, you can return to the League Settings screen at any time and tap “Export Pitch Counts” to generate your Pitch Count Report.
What's in the Report?
For any team you add to your report, we’ll provide you with relevant information to help you monitor pitcher usage and keep your players safe with stats like pitch count, innings pitched and innings caught. Additionally, we’ve created a new stat called Last Batter First Pitch #, which will let you detect if a player hit a days-of-rest threshold during their last batter faced – so you no longer have to do the math on your own when considering Little League's Pitch Count exception: “The pitcher will only be required to observe the calendar day(s) of rest for the threshold he/she reached during that at-bat”.
