GameChanger Without the App

Sometimes, members of the team community will not be able to download GameChanger but will want to stay in the loop. We encourage all team members to download the app for a full experience, but you can still communicate with members who do not have the app in a few different ways.

Full Team Email

Team Staff can use the Message Team button from your team's roster page. Tapping that will pull up the option to email the entire team, including members who have not yet downloaded the app.

RSVPs

Community members without the app can still RSVP for games and practices. When Team Staff create or edit an event, they will see the option to Save & Message Team. If this is selected, notifications will be sent out to the team. Active members of the team community will receive a push notification. Anyone who has been invited to join the team but does not yet have a GameChanger account will receive an email notification. 

The email notification will contain the event details, and the team member can RSVP for themselves and their player(s) directly from that email. 

New Chat Alert

Team members who do not have the app will also be alerted via email whenever they are added to a new message group within the app. However, they will not be able to view or respond to messages without downloading the app and joining the team. They will also still need the app to view live games, box scores, or stats from their team. 

Note: The live GameStream, box scores, and stats are only available within the app.
