The equipment checklist feature allows Team Staff for baseball and softball teams to more easily communicate with parents about what equipment they will need to provide for their player. DICK’S Pro Tips links are included as a guide to help parents make appropriate equipment selections.
Creating a Checklist
- Baseball/softball Team Staff will see an Equipment tab added to the top of their roster view
- Tap suggested items to add them to your team’s equipment list
- Include any Coach’s Instructions that apply to this item or tips you may have for parents
- Be sure that the Parents Must Provide toggle is turned on to have the item added to the list
Parents will see the required items as a checklist at the top of their equipment tab and can tap each item to read the coach’s notes and DICK’S Pro Tips articles. Items can be checked off the list as needed. Parents will also see an Equipment to Consider category beneath the required list for those who may be interested in additional gear.
