The GoPro camera system allows users to stream video to GameChanger through the Quik App. GoPro cameras that support live video streaming via RTMPS are:
- GoPro Hero 7, 8, 9, 10 11 Black, 12
- GoPro Max
Please make sure that your GoPro Quik app has been updated to the following versions of the app or higher:
- Android - 12.3.20078
- iOS - 12.2.2.12370
When streaming using an external camera using an RTMPS URL and Key, generated by GameChanger, users are dependent on the software of the camera manufacturer. In that streaming setup, settings such as focus, resolution, and zoom are those of the device manufacturer. Unfortunately, controlling those settings is out of our application's control. Please reach out to your respective manufacturer to resolve any issues with those features.
GameChanger recommends that users determine their upload speed to help determine the best resolution to stream based on network connection and conditions. Please visit our Improving Stream Quality for External Cameras support site for more information.

Note:
- GoPro does not support mute through camera settings. If you would like to mute your stream GoPro recommends plugging in a mic adaptor but not connecting a mic.
- If using the Personal Hotspot on your phone, there is a limited range that the GoPro can be away from the device. A dedicated Hotspot or other device is recommended.
- If recording to an SD card, make sure there is enough room on the card to record the game. If the card fills up, the stream will cut off when the recording stops.
- Some GoPro users may experience better results in connectivity using the RTMP insecure ingest method that can be found in our Live Streaming From An External Camera (Insecure) support article.
