The following restriction does not make sense for youth sports - often times the manager or team parent is asked to add another parent/guardian to an account. It would be simpler if the admin/staff level had this ability instead of instructing each person individually.

"If a player does not have an active account or an active parent attached to their profile, Team Staff will be able to add parents as needed. However, once a player or parent has accepted the invite to create an account on GameChanger Team Manager, only the player, parent, or guardian can add additional parents."

NOTE: team admins do have this ability in other GameChanger products.

OK, come on, you guys have to figure this out. I am both the head coach of a team and a parent of one of the players. So I need to edit the contact info for MY CHILD, but I can't. The app says that a parent must edit the info because they've registered the app. YES, I am the parent who registered. Is the app unable to determine that I am both the coach and parent and let me edit my child's info? I can't add another parent contact, so therefore even they can't edit my child's info

TeamSnap does not have this problem. Oh, and we can't edit schedules on the web, can't access anyting  on the web, can't import schedules ourselves or from Blue Sombrero. Yikes.

I coach a lot of teams thru parks and rec. We are only given parent/child name and phone numbers, no emails. Is there a work around on sending team invites without email address?

I agree with all of the comments above. Unfortunately, I am a divorced dad and whoever developed the app obviously is not. But, I am blessed to have No 1 Jake Bone as my son. My ex wife and I make joint decisions in regards to our kids extra curriculum activities. She created the account therefore she has to add me as a parent? She will not add me as the father so I have not received any notices of cancellations , make up games etc. And as my ex stated it is not her responsibility to let me know when the schedule changes. I called admin and their response was I cannot do anything about your ex wife. Well, I completely get that! I missed Thursday’s game on his birthday bc of no communication and admin claiming my profile is not completed. This morning, same thing, app says game is on. My ex has me registered as a fan, therefore no alerts coming my way. Did this developer not think of parents who are divorced. So, I am trying to be nice but this is very frustrating. Now, why would you develop an app where only whoever signs their child up, has complete control. For whoever developed this app, simply add a filter that states mother and father of player has authorization of account. Basically, I am paying for some statistics for a 12 yr old which I could get at the game. No communication which is what is so desperately needed. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Pls let me know if you can help?

This app has been an absolute nightmare from the very beginning. It's all done through the app, except the roster setup which they'll send you a link to, but won't work. I can't add more than 12 players, I can't associate myself with my child because I'm an admin, this is a joke. Dick's Sporting Goods owns this, Dick's!! This isn't some small time corporation. I can't believe they'd associate their names to this garbage. I logged out of the app, cleared my cache and rebooted my phone, now I can't log back in at all. Keeps telling me to check my network connection - the network connection that's working well enough to type this comment on. GARBAGE!!

This is not helpful. Many parents have conflicting schedules, or are divorced, or have jobs that require travel. The old way of managing family members was much easier. This current set up is not friendly, helpful, or easily managed.

The option to add a family member is not there for my team.  I am an admin and I don't even have the option.  What can I do?

this is a terrible limitation.  This app has been nothing but a nightmare since I started using it.  Going back to the original gamechanger app!
